Competitive Events

Nebraska Educators Rising Competitive Event Policy

Chapter Voting Delegates

Each chapter should choose two (2) individuals to serve as Voting Delegates. It is recommended that these individuals not be involved in Competitive Events, as their schedule is very specific. These members must be available to participate for the entirety of the State Officer Candidate Speeches and Business Session in order to cast their votes.
Each chapter receives two votes for State Officer Candidates and official business, one for each voting delegate. Voting Delegates will receive their nametag ribbon and official ballot upon check-in at the State Officer Candidate Speeches; upon check-in for the Business Session, Voting Delegates will receive their official business ballot. The nametag ribbon will serve as their clearance to cast their ballots by 5:00pm on Wednesday, February 26. If Voting Delegates do not sign in for either session, they will not receive nametag ribbons or official ballots and will not be eligible to cast votes.
